With the objective of strengthening their commitment towards the wellbeing of Mother Earth, representatives from the Lencas and Kakawiras indigenous people, from the west of El Salvador, participated in the 1st Regional Encounter of the Children of Mother Earth.
The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) in El Salvador, gave an awareness speech on the subject: “The donation of voluntary, altruistic and habitual safe blood donation”, in the Youth Municipal Institute.
With the traditional act of invocation and gratitude towards Mother Earth, the indigenous representatives opened the Encounter, and the children’s chorus of Izalco sang the National Anthem of the Republic of El Salvador in the Nahuatl tongue.
