On January 26, the World Environmental Education Day will be celebrated and in order to promote the importance of this date, the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace is organizing the PEACE FOR MOTHER EARTH FAIRS, which will be simultaneously held in more than 15 countries in America, the Caribbean and Spain.

Quito, Macachí, Ibarra, Santo Domingo de Tsachila, Machala and Guayaquil are the Ecuadorian cities that were added to the 4th International Blood Drive Marathon, organized by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), as part of their international campaign "Life is in the Blood", and along with state and private agencies were able to collect 2,045 effective blood units.

For the month of April, the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace assembled the 3rd International Blood Drive. On this occasion, 20 countries joined this campaign in order to create, in their fellow citizens, a culture of voluntary and habitual blood donation.

The voluntary activists in Ecuador, in coordination with the Ecuadorian Red Cross, developed events in the cities of Quito, Guayaquil, Riobamba and El Coca, on April 24, 25 and 26, and May 2, 2014, respectively; obtaining 1,121 effective blood pints.
