Meeting with Panama’s Ministry of Government

 A meeting was held between Panama’s Minister of Government, Milton Henríquez, and Global Ambassador Dr. William Soto, in the conference room of the National Palace in Panama City. The meeting focused on the experiences and projects of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, seeking to work together and promote momentous changes in Panama’s national public policies.

 A number of individuals who work closely with the Minister of Government of Panama also attended the meeting, including Maritza Royo, Secretary General; Gina Sossa, Deputy Minister; as well as Gabriel Rincón and Sharon Diaz, the Director and Deputy Director of the Penitentiary System of Panama, among other senior officials who learned about the work, projects and activities that the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace and Dr. William Soto have been developing in different countries, making a positive impact on the human family.

Dr. William Soto was accompanied by an interdisciplinary team of professionals of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace: from Colombia, Dr. Sonia Montoya and Dr. Camilo Montoya, Project Development Council Director; from Mexico, Dr. Francisco Guerra, National Coordinator of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace in Mexico; and Ariel Cerrud, National Coordinator for Panama. Together, they officially presented the "Justice for Peace" Judicial Forums project, among other projects being carried out.

Several important topics were addressed during the meeting, including the coordination between the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace and the Ministry of Government of Panama to work together in the constituent process being promoted by the President of Panama, Juan Carlos Varela.
