Guardians for the Peace of Mother Earth protect natural spaces

Continuing with the maintenance work and improvements to the forest in honor of Dr. William Soto, in Corralito, department of Guaymallen, Mendoza, volunteers of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), planted native trees.

With the removal of soil, marking and drilling of wells, the planting of 25 palmers (Chamaeropshumilis), and 31 tree species (eucalyptus, olives, and peppers) began, which were donated by the Activists.

Later, on August 3rd, they planted 36 palmers in the service trail and the entrance of the forest, closing the week with 92 planted trees.

Cleaning and irrigation

The following week, they cleaned and cut reeds, they also constructed the quenches with reusable materials and they proceed to the second stage of irrigation in the area.

Two stages of electricity work began on August 20 and 22nd, to help the lifting of the foundations and they worked on the security of the area.

Restoration and protection

The Guardians for the Peace of Mother Earth promoted the restoration and protection of the environment through citizen actions to care for the natural and urban spaces of the planet Earth.
