The city of Santa Cruz in Bolivia leads the list of the 10 cities that were added to the 4th International Blood Drive Marathon "Life is in the Blood", throughout the months of October and most of November, organized by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), and coordinated with the blood banks of different regions of Bolivia. With the participation of men and women between the ages of 18 and 65, Bolivia reached a total of 3.121 effective units.

Voluntary donors from the cities of Entre Rios, Beni, Bermejo, Cochabamba, Yacuiba, Villamontes, Tarija, La Paz, El Alto and Santa Cruz, expressed their motivation by participating in these acts of solidarity: "It is an incentive to help people, do it with all your heart, be completely devoted to it." said Marcos David Méndez Arteaga.

"It is a privilege to help people, I've always had the desire to support these campaigns, and thank you for being present where the youth can participate in this campaign", expressed Lesly Yoselin Roca Garcia when exiting the donation center.

Guillermo Sánchez Toledo, voluntary donor, also made a call to the Bolivian citizenship to become aware of this public health need, "Therefore, it is better to donate, because today it may be another person, and tomorrow it may be one of us."

Doctor Claudia Salas, from the Regional Blood Bank of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, thanked the organization of these important altruist activities in their country: "The Global Embassy of Activists for Peace is a very supportive group. In this case, their contribution to society benefits us, because it helps us as a blood bank to have abundant and safe blood for the population.”
