Justice and Democracy are the foundations of world peace
William Soto, Executive President of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, describes the session for Friday, October 20, celebrated at the Parlatino:
"This session of the Peace Integration Summit - CUMIPAZ, is called ‘Justice and Democracy.’ Two concepts, two values, closely related, that act as feedback for the foundation of World Peace. Democracy cannot survive without transparent, prompt, and effective justice. And justice with equality cannot ignore the fundamental values of Democracy."
Soto stated that the 21st century is called to be the Century of Peace; however, to date, it exhibits more violence fueled by hate speech, and an education that only transmits knowledge but is empty of values and fundamental principles for harmonious coexistence.
The president of the GEAP announced that from now on, the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace will have the Human Rights Office to receive and assist the victims, to cooperate and denounce all acts of discrimination and intolerance before the competent authorities, and in particular, to carry out preventive work against discrimination or any serious attack against any member of the human family.
