Educational conception of the Holocaust promotes the defense and practice of human rights

Mexico

Knowing the story of acts such as the Holocaust, allows the students to recognize the consequences of intolerance, prejudice and disrespect of life; with this concept, the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) developed in Mexico workshops about the genocidal barbarism.

With the aim of remembering this life lesson, to promote the respect of human dignity, as well as the defense and practice of inalienable rights, the GEAP carried out training activities at educational institutions of the Guerrero and Veracruz states.

1,594 students participated in the workshops that were carried out from September 20 to 22, in the framework of the Educating to Remember Program which is promoted by the GEAP as an integral educational plan focused in the teaching of principles and ethical, moral and spiritual values.
