An exhibition of environmental modules motivate the citizens to protect Mother Earth

Citizens visited Nu Guasu Park to attend the Peace for Mother Earth Fair and celebrate the World Environmental Education Day.

The International Program “Children of Mother Earth” which is carried out by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), held at the Nu Guasu Park in Luque, Paraguay, on January 26, 2016, the Peace for Mother Earth Fair in celebration of the World Environmental Education Day.

The event counted with the participation of state agencies, such as, the National Forestry Institute and the Ministry of Environment. Representatives from the cities Mariano Roque Alonso, Capiata and Villa Elisa also collaborated in the realization of this fair. Commercial brands, such as Agua Seltz and Bebidas del Paraguay, also supported this event.

The Peace for Mother Earth Fair was made up of six modules where the Activists for Peace had to speak on environmental topics that sensitized the participants, which recognized that Mother Earth should be taken care of and protected by her inhabitants.

There was also a sixth module for children to create letters and drawings expressing their love for Mother Earth. Each module that was presented during the fair left a message in Paraguayans to reflect upon and to recognize Mother Earth as a living being
